Official Test Entry Processing Guidelines

NAVHDA Test Entry Guidelines:

1. For an Official Test Entry to be complete, it must contain:

* Dog's NAVHDA Number

* Owner's NAVHDA Number

* Test Entry Fee

2. Dog must be one of the 27 identified Versatile Breeds (refer to page IV in Aims, Programs, Test Rules)

3. NA entries must be no older than 16 months at the time of the test in order to Prize. Older dogs may be entered if space is available, but willreceive an evaluation only.

4. There are no age restrictions on UPT and UT entries.

Lone Star Chapter Test Entry Guidelines:

1. Total number of entries will be determined by maximum number of dogs allowed to run, according to AIMS guidelines.

2. Official Test Entries are processed in order received by mail by the Test Secretary. Multiple entries received on the same day, will be randomly drawn and scheduled in drawn order.

3. Entries cannot be accepted or "held" via phone, fax, or email contact.

4. Entries received once the test is determined to be full, will be placed on a Wait List and the entry fee will be deposited.

5. If an entry is dropped, the Test Secretary will contact the next participant on the Wait List to see if they want to run their dog. If so, they will be moved into running order and sent a Test Confirmation. If they decline, the refund criteria will be applied.

6. Refund Criteria: Entries dropped 60 days prior to the test date will receive a full refund. Entries dropped less than 60 days prior to the test date will receive only a partial refund (entry fee minus $50) if their slot can be filled. If a full replacement cannot be found, no refund will be granted.

7. Entries and fees can not be rolled forward or transferred to a later test.  A new entry form and appropriate fees must be submitted for each test.

8. Owner of Test Property may enter one NAVHDA registered dog per testing event at no cost.

9. Handlers may handle no more than 2 dogs per testing event.*

10. Bitches "in season" will be run last at each phase of testing.

*On test day, special circumstances of a handler entering more than two dogs in a test will be reviewed and handled by the Test Secretary and Executive Members present.
